Definitions
Here are some common definitions of terms related to holsters and accessories.

Belt Slide
This slide design is universal, lightweight, and compatible with most belts.

Cant & Canted
Every holster we create features a 15-degree cant. This option is available at no additional cost, and while it's not mandatory it can enhance your experience.

Canted Belt Loops
Canted belt loops are designed for OWB holsters. They help position the holster further away from the body, enhancing comfort and providing a stable fit on curved surfaces.
Carry Side
The carry side refers to the side where you prefer to position your holster and whether you will be drawing with your right or left hand.

Chest Rig
Constructed from ballistic nylon, the chest rig is durable and stiff, providing both protection and comfort for extended wear.

Claw
The Claw is designed for IWB carry, enhancing concealment. It aligns with the belt, and when you tighten your belt, it rotates the firearm's grip closer to your body, reducing printing.

Combat Loops
Combat loops are easy to use with OWB holsters. They allow whatever you're carrying to be positioned vertically or horizontally.

Drop-Leg (Removable & Non-Removable)
The removable Drop-Leg utilizes a Tek-Mount quick release system, featuring a two-part connection for easy attachment and adjustment. It allows for 10-degree cant increments in 360 degrees, while the non-removable version is directly mounted to the holster itself.

Drop Style
Drop Style clips can be adjusted to raise or lower your holster's position.

Fomi

G-Code Paddle
This is a lightweight, ergonomic design featuring a pre-formed belt channel with several mounting hole positions for optimal compatibility with standard holster designs. It is intended for OWB use.

Hybrid
The Hybrid holster combines a Kydex front with a 100% cow leather back, allowing for both IWB and OWB wear.
I-L
IWB
IWB stands for "Inside the Waistband," referring to holsters that are worn inside your pants.
Lazers & Lights
If you have a holster designed for lights or lasers, a pistol without a light will not be compatible. Conversely, if you choose a holster made without a light, it cannot be modified to accommodate a light or laser later on.

Level II Thumb Break
The Thumb Break adds a level II retention for safety. This product features a snap that must be pushed before drawing your pistol.
M-P
Metal
Metal clips are excellent for mounting. They hold securely when wearing your holster, suitable for both IWB and OWB use.
MM Wings
MM Wings (clips) are designed for OWB holsters and provide the second best option for holding the holster close to your body.

Molle
Molle clips secure holsters and gear to your Molle vest and plate carrier. They are available in various sizes (S, M, or L).

Mono Block
Monoblock is a stamped piece of spring steel featuring a highly aggressive hook that ensures a very secure hold on the belt.
OWB
OWB means "Outside the Waistband," which indicates holsters that are worn on the outside.

Paddle
The paddle is designed for OWB carry. It slides easily into your pants and the hooks on the sides secure it in place for added stability.

Pancake
The Pancake holster is designed to be worn outside the pants, secured to your belt.

Pancake Loops
Pancake loops are an excellent option because they allow the OWB holster to sit closely and securely against the body.

Designed for carry in either the left or right pocket, this holster features a built-in hook that secures to the inside of your pocket, allowing the firearm to be drawn while leaving the holster behind.

Retention
Retention refers to the of force that secures the firearm in the holster. All holsters feature adjustable retention, allowing users to customize it to their preference.

RMR Cut
RMR Cut modifies the holster to accommodate a reflex red dot sight. The RMR cuts extend from the ejection port to the end of the Sweat Guard.

RMR Hood
An RMR Hood is designed to cover the red dot sight, protecting against potential damage from impacts.
Shoulder Harness
Constructed from ballistic nylon, the shoulder harness is a durable and stiff harness that features adjustable straps, padded shoulders, and an elastic strap at the back, designed to fit a wide range of adult sizes.
Sidecar
This holster integrates a magazine holder, connected by an elastic cord, hence the name "sidecar."
Speed Ease
Speed Ease clips are designed for OWB holsters, providing quick attachment and detachment.

Speed Lock
The Speed Lock (Generation 2) features a smooth thumb release that activates the spring-loaded hood in a split second. This enables the handgun to be drawn instantly once the grip is secured.

Sweat Guard
The Sweat Guard is the holster material that reaches the rear sight of the firearm. It is highly advisable to use Full Sweat Guards on IWB holsters to prevent sweat from getting into the holster or coming into contact with your firearm. We provide both full and half Sweat Guards at no extra charge.

Taco
The Taco Holster is a fold-over design, tailored to fit your sidearm perfectly. It can be configured for either OWB or IWB carry.

Tuckables
These types of clips are designed for concealment purposes.

Ulticlip
If you wear scrubs, basketball shorts, or any loose clothing, the Ulticlip easily attaches to itself through your garment.
